Both are Sprinters, and the difference in usable capacity between them is substantial. We confirm which configuration is proposed before you book, rather than leaving it to the word « minibus ».
A Sprinter is tall. Underground car parks, some hotel entrances and a number of courtyards in central Paris have height limits it cannot clear. Certain streets in the older districts are also impractical for a long wheelbase.
This is why we ask for the exact addresses rather than a district. Where access is genuinely restricted we say so in advance and agree a nearby drop-off point — a short walk decided beforehand is better than a manoeuvre discovered on arrival.
Beyond the Sprinter’s capacity, or for a group travelling with a full set of hold luggage, a coach is more comfortable and often more economical than two vans. It is also subject to its own access rules in the city centre.
We will recommend it when it is right, even though it is a different booking. Splitting a group across two vans to avoid the conversation serves nobody.
