Paris · Mercedes V-Class
The vehicle people book when a saloon is one seat short, or three suitcases short. Its value is space — and knowing when that space is worth paying for.
A V-Class is typically configured for six or seven passengers. Filling every seat and loading a week’s luggage for each of them are two different requests, and the second is what actually constrains the booking.
Tell us both numbers when you enquire. Six passengers with cabin bags is comfortable ; six passengers with large cases and ski bags may call for a second vehicle, and we would rather establish that before the day than at the kerb.
Sliding side doors open in the width of a parking space, which matters on narrow streets and at hotel entrances where a saloon door cannot swing fully. Passengers step in rather than lower themselves in, and there is standing room to organise coats and bags.
The rear cabin is separate enough to hold a conversation in : the vehicle is as often booked by four business travellers who want to talk on the way as by six people who simply do not fit elsewhere.
For five or six people travelling together, one vehicle is usually simpler and cheaper than two, and the group stays together.
Two saloons make more sense when the passengers are going to different places, when they arrive on different flights, or when discretion and separate conversations matter more than staying together. We will tell you which we would book, including when that means quoting less.
Families and groups arriving with real luggage, where a saloon would mean two cars or a bag on someone’s lap.
A small team moving between meetings, or a family sightseeing, with the vehicle available all day and belongings left on board.
Trips to the coast, the Champagne region or the Alps, where space over several hours is worth more than anything else.
It depends on the configuration and on how many seats are occupied. Give us passengers and cases and we confirm the capacity before you book.
Yes, on request at booking with the age and weight of each child.
It is a passenger vehicle and circulates as one. Some hotel forecourts and courtyards are tight, which is why we ask for the exact address.
Beyond seven or eight passengers, yes. See Mercedes Sprinter with chauffeur.
A saloon is usually the better choice. See Mercedes S-Class with chauffeur.
Tell us the date and time, the route, the number of passengers and the number of cases. We confirm the right vehicle and send a firm quote.
