Hoan Kiem Lake
One of the first sights to see in Hanoi is Hoan Kiem Lake, a place well-loved and celebrated by locals. The lake is named after a popular legend: Emperor Lê Loi received a sword from a fisherman who found it in the lake to drive away Chinese invaders.
