Twenty-five kilometres that can take forty minutes or twice that. What makes the difference on this transfer is rarely the driving — it is knowing which terminal you land at and where to meet.
Terminal 1 is a circular building with its own arrivals level. Terminal 2 is split into separate halls, each with its own entrance, several minutes apart on foot. Terminal 3 serves mainly low-cost and charter flights and has a different layout again.
Which hall you walk out of decides where your chauffeur can legally wait. We agree that point before you land, and you receive the driver’s direct contact. A vague « outside arrivals » is how people end up circling a terminal with their luggage.
Pickup is based on your actual landing time. If the aircraft is an hour late, the booking moves with it at no extra step from you. Waiting terms after landing are stated in the quote, so nothing is discovered at the kerb.
For late arrivals, the chauffeur is confirmed the day before and waits inside arrivals. This matters more than it sounds : public transport to central Paris stops well before the last flights land.
If you are travelling alone with one cabin bag, arriving mid-morning, and staying near a direct rail link, the train is faster and cheaper. We will say so.
A private car earns its place when you are a family or a group, when you have real luggage, when you arrive late or very early, when you are going somewhere the rail network does not serve well, or when you simply do not want to manage any of it after a long flight.
The A1 carries commuter traffic as well as airport traffic. Weekday mornings inbound and late afternoons outbound are the slow windows, and there is no shortcut that avoids them. We do not advertise a guaranteed transfer time : we build in a realistic margin and tell you what it is.
If you have a fixed commitment on arrival, give us that time rather than a departure time. We work backwards from it.
At an agreed point in the arrivals hall of your terminal, with a name board on request. The point is confirmed before you land.
We monitor the flight and adjust. If you are diverted to another airport, contact the chauffeur directly and we will reorganise rather than cancel.
It depends on the vehicle, so tell us passengers and cases when you enquire. We confirm the category before you book rather than discover the problem in the car park.
